Study: Kids, Working Adults Spread Flu

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Researchers at Oregon State University say vaccinating younger populations could reduce the spread of the flu.

The study suggests children in school and young adults at work spread the flu the most.

Current vaccine programs are focused on the elderly and those higher at risk of death. But OSU researchers say programs that effectively increase vaccination in younger aged groups would be the best way to break the cycle and save lives.
