METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Showers were on and off Saturday with plenty of sun breaks as well. Temperatures managed to climb into the mid to upper 40s during the afternoon after starting in the upper 30s.
An upper level trough will remain in control of our weather Sunday, keeping showers in our forecast. The heaviest and most widespread showers will be Sunday afternoon as a wave swings through. Communities above 2,500 feet can expect 4-9 inches of new snow through Sunday night.
Isolated showers continue Monday as the upper level trough begins to push off to the east. Intermittent sunshine will help get highs into the mid to upper 40s.
Changes come Tuesday as a high pressure ridge builds into the area. This will keep the forecast dry through the end of the week with highs in the upper 40s near 50.
Have a super Sunday!
