METEOROLOGIST MELISSA FREY’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A weak, cloud producing, disturbance moved through western Oregon this morning. These clouds will continue to move northeast and by lunch time we should be back to sunny skies. High temperatures should make it back to the low 80s for the valley, mid 80s for the Umpqua Basin and mid 60s for the coast.
A trough of low pressure will move through Friday which will keep the clouds around for the first part of the day and highs in the low 80s for the valley.
By Saturday the jet stream will head north and high pressure will move in. This will bring in full sunshine for the weekend with highs close to 90 degrees.
Have a great Thursday!
