METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Mostly clear skies will continue Friday night. Temperatures will be chill and into the low to mid 50s. With plummeting temperatures, patchy fog will develop late Friday night/early Saturday morning in the valleys. Sunshine will return by mid morning and continue through the rest of the day. High temperatures will be in the upper 50s and low 60s.
Sunny skies continue Sunday. High temperatures will be a few degrees warmer and in the low to mid 60s. Monday will be even warmer yet, but clouds will decrease late in the day ahead of a storm. Showers will start late along the coast Monday and then spread inland Monday night. Showers will continue through Friday morning as a series of waves move through. The Cascades can expect snow showers starting Wednesday above 3,500 feet.
