High pressure is in full force across western Oregon! This means we’re blocked from any storms moving in, our skies stay clear and temperatures will be above normal. High pressure will continue to dominate our weather through the weekend.
It was a chilly start with much the valley dropping to the mid-30s, but high temperatures will return to the mid-60s this evening in the Valley, upper 50s at the Coast and low 70s for the Umpqua Basin.
We’ll see similar conditions Friday and Saturday, but even warmer weather can be expected by Sunday as high pressure strengthens. The Valley will be in the low 70s and the Umpqua Basin will be in the mid to upper 70s.
By Monday this high pressure will move east. We’ll see increasing clouds, cooler temperatures and eventually rain chances by Tuesday afternoon.
Have a great day!
