METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A mostly clear ski overnight allowed temperatures to quickly fall below freezing to start Monday. But sunshine will continue for another day getting high temperatures back into the mid 50s.
Clouds will move in during the evening ahead of the next system Monday night. Showers will start just after midnight as a cold front moves ashore. Showers will continue Tuesday through early Thursday as the system continues spin across the area; we’ll see more sun breaks Wednesday and Thursday as the system weakens and moves off to the east. High temps on the backside of the system will cooler, into the upper 40s.
Another ridge is set to build in next weekend, which should keep us dry with highs back into the low to mid 50s.
Have a wonderful week!
