Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Evening Forecast Discussion:
We’re in store for a really nice Fall pattern for the entire 7-day forecast. Another night of clear skies, a quick cooldown into the mid to low 30s for early Wednesday morning. But don’t worry, sunny skies should start to pop up by mid-morning and throughout the rest of the day. Highs will again jump back into the mid 60s. We’ll stay in that same pattern for the next couple of days as the ridge of high pressure gets closer and stronger, foggy mornings and sunny afternoons with highs in the low to mid 60s.
By the weekend, the dense fog in the morning will be gone and a good push of warmer air will be filling in from the south, meaning with full sunshine, we should be push weekend highs to near 70! The Umpqua valley spots will likely climb into the low 70s all weekend. Tailgaiting at Autzen ahead of the Ducks v. Cougars at 7pm will be very pleasant with sunny skies and highs near 70. But gametime will likely cool off quickly just after kickoff. Not bad for the middle of October!
Have a great Wednesday!
