METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
High pressure was in full control Saturday keeping skies sunny and allowing temperatures to climb into the mid 80s inland and upper 60s along the coast.
High pressure remains in control Sunday through Tuesday. Skies will remain mostly clear inland with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s, low 90s in the Umpqua Basin. The coast will keep a few more clouds, especially in the morning; highs will remain in the upper 60s.
An upper level low sitting off the California coast will move through central Oregon, Wednesday through Friday. This will support thunderstorm development in the Cascades each afternoon.
Have a super Sunday!
