Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:
There are only 40 days left in the spring season, but we’re getting another early taste of summer weather this week! High pressure is back in control of the Pacific Northwest and this will keep any other storms from moving into the Pacific Northwest.
We’ll begin to see off-shore winds Monday which will continue through Thursday. You can expect high temperatures Monday to be about 10 degrees warmer than Sunday. Highs will return to the mid 70s in the Valley, mid to upper 60s at the Coast and low 80s in the Umpqua Basin.
Tuesday we’ll likely climb in the low 80s in the Valley with even warmer weather to come Wednesday and Thursday. The valley should reach the mid 80s, the Umpqua Basin the low 90s and the coast will stay in the mid 70s.
The next chance for rain isn’t until Saturday!
Have a great day!
