Sunny, Warm, Dry Weather Here to Stay

Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:

Rinse and Repeat! High pressure is here and it’s not leaving anytime soon.

After just a few brief morning clouds, clear skies are overhead and it’s going to be another toasty day. Highs should top out near 90 degrees in the Valley, mid 60s at the Coast and low 90s in the Umpqua Basin.

We won’t see much change to our weather this week. This weekend we’ll see a slightly stronger on-shore flow which will allow morning clouds to develop from the coast to the valley for the first few hours of the day. We’ll still stay dry and sunny for the afternoon and highs will climb to the upper 80s.

Monday and Tuesday we’ll see less on-shore flow and therefore more sunshine. This should allow temperature to climb into the low 90s.

Have a great weekend!
