Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Daily Forecast Discussion:
Our summery quiet weather pattern continues for the rest of the work week and likely into much of next week as well. Tonight, we’ll stay mostly clear overnight until the morning when the marine clouds will have moved back inland. Lows tonight will settle into the mid to upper 40s.
Similar to today, tomorrow’s morning clouds will be gone by lunchtime (or thereabouts) and it’s back to sunny skies for the rest of the day. Highs again will push into the mid to upper 70s and likely approaching 80 in the Umpqua. The coast will be slower to clear the next couple of days, with a chance for some light drizzle in the early morning hours, then slowly burning off the clouds through the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 50s and low 60s.
The high pressure ridge flattens out just a bit Friday but builds back up over the weekend and highs will be pushing into the upper 70s and low 80s, the coast will hopefully be in the 60s areawide. Otherwise, the high is back in control through midweek next week so it’s more of the same: morning clouds and afternoon sun.
Have a great Wednesday night!
