A ridge of high pressure is building in over the Pacific Northwest now. This will bring sunny skies and summery weather for Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday will begin with low clouds and fog for most low-lying areas clearing to to full sun by afternoon. High temperatures along the coast 60-65. The Willamette Valley will reach highs in the mid-70’s and almost 80 degrees in the Umpqua Basin. Thursday will be a repeat of Wednesday, just a few degrees warmer.
Friday we’ll see a brief cool down as a front swings through the area. This means clouds for everyone and a chance for light showers along the coast and into the Willamette Valley.
Saturday marks the first day of summer and this first weekend of summer will be sunny and mild with temperatures in the upper 70’s inland and mid 60’s along the coast.
