EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene Police Department says it now has enough evidence to charge the man arrested after a string of indecent exposure complaints.
Anthony Richard Long, 23, is charged with eight counts of public indecency, one count of private indecency, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Police say Long exposed himself in front of women in Eugene’s downtown and Whiteaker neighborhoods. Reports of this activity date back to November of 2012, but Long wasn’t arrested until last Saturday.
“Police received a number of different reports, and it was as leads were developed that they were able to put together the case against Mr. Long,” says Acting Captain Doug Mozan of the Eugene Police Department.
The EPD says that Long’s victims ranged in age from 21 to 90 years old.
