Suspect Shoots at Car Windows

EUGENE, Ore. — Someone shot out five car windows in south Eugene Friday morning.

Two cars were hit in the parking lot at Amazon Pool and three others at Tugman Park.

Police say someone driving by shot out the windows with what they think was a BB or pellet gun.

“I’m not worried about the cars. I’m worried about all the children that are here for the day. And that’s very, very scary. I’m mean, this is a terrible place to pull a stunt like that…On the other side, two windows were blown out, but children are safe and there’s no one harmed,” said Colleen Lewis, whose car window was shot out.

Police have yet to make any arrests.

A witness reported seeing the man behind the gun.

He says he was driving alone in an older green Subaru Outback.

Police have not released any other information at this time.
