OAKRIDGE, Ore. — There’s a unique sport being taught in Lane County that requires athleticism, musicality and treading water. Many people probably don’t know there’s a synchronized swimming team in Oakridge. Thirteen people, ages 8 to 18, make up the team. The Oakridge Synchronized Swimming Team’s summer “H2O Holidays” performance is Saturday, August 3, at 9pm. The free show is held at 76404 Poplar St. Attendees are asked to bring a chair.
