EUGENE, Ore. — How many people do you know reach their 105th birthday? Not many. One local woman is, though. Vesta Friday is marking a rare milestone Friday, Dec. 7. She’s a long-time local resident of the Eugene-Springfield area. She worked until her 80s at her own dress shop in Springfield.
