EPD Traffic Sting

EUGENE, Ore. – Eugene Police will be on the lookout for traffic violators Monday. Patrols will be out near the intersection of MLK Boulevard and Coburg Road citing people not following the law. EPD is cracking down on speeding, cell phone use and even uninsured drivers. It’s part of a month’s long traffic operation.

Former EPD Officer Investigated

EUGENE, Ore. — A former Eugene Police officer is under investigation by the Oregon Department of Justice, for internet crimes against children. Eugene Police say Jeffrey Wade Argo resigned on April 22. EPD wouldn’t go on camera to discuss the case. This is a developing story, we’ll have more information as it becomes available.
