Fire Destroys Eugene Attic

EUGENE, Ore. — Firefighters are investigating an early morning house fire in Eugene. It happened on the 1500 block of Linda Avenue, just before 2 a.m. Friday. Crews say flames destroyed the attic. One person lives in the home and was inside at the time. Red Cross is now providing assistance.
