Crews Burn Out Invasive Species

EUGENE, Ore. — If you saw a huge plume of smoke coming from downtown Wednesday, don’t worry it was a controlled burn. The Bureau of Land Management say it was an ecological burn. It’s trying to get rid of invasive species and restore native plants. They set about 16 acres on fire Wednesday.
