OMAHA, Neb.–Exactly a year to the day, No. 8 Oregon faced off against No. 1 Wisconsin in the Round of 32 in the 2015 NCAA Tournament. While the Ducks kept it close to the very end, they couldn’t pull out the win at CenturyLink Center as they fell 72-65.
EUGENE, Ore.–The Ducks are going dancing! For the third straight year, Oregon Men’s Basketball is going to NCAA tournament. The Ducks are the No. 8 seed in the West region and will face No. 9 Oklahoma State in Omaha on Friday. If they win that game, they will likely play No. 1 Wisconsin.
CORVALLIS, Ore.–NFL Scouts and GM’s made the short trip from Eugene to Corvallis on Friday to watch Oregon State’s Pro Day. All eyes were on Sean Mannion as he tried to prove that he is the third best quarterback in this year’s draft behind Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston.
EUGENE, Ore.–NFL Scouts from all over the country descended upon Oregon to watch Marcus Mariota throw at Pro Day. And in a surprise twist, Mariota took snaps from under center. Other players like Hroniss Grasu and Arik Armstead discussed the draft process.
