Recent Wildfires End Backyard Burning

EUGENE, Ore. — Saturday was a very busy day for fire crews across Oregon, which lead to the end of the backyard burning season in Lane County. The Lane Fire Defense Board made the call Saturday night, after numerous wildfires sparked throughout the day. Backyard burning in the county is banned indefinitely.
