Lane County November Unemployment 6.9%

EUGENE, Ore. — Lane County’s unemployment rate increased last month. The rate went up to 6.9 percent in November compared to 6.8 percent in October. It’s still below the statewide rate of 7 percent. Benton County Touts Lowest Unemployment

SALEM, Ore. — One Western Oregon county can tout the lowest unemployment rate in the state while others still struggle. In March, Benton County reports 6.1 percent unemployment–that’s the best in Oregon. The rate is 10.5 percent in Coos County and 11.1 percent in Douglas County.
