Deadly Pedestrian Crash Blocks River Rd.

EUGENE, Ore. — Police say an 80-year-old Eugene man was killed when he was struck by a car as he crossed the street around noon Saturday. This happened on River Rd. near Irving. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say impairment wasn’t an issue in the crash.
