EUGENE, Ore. — EWEB reports 1,100 southwest Eugene residents lost power Saturday afternoon. EWEB managers say it’s a result of a failure of relay switches and other equipment along W. 28th Avenue that started at 1:30 p.m. At 8:15 p.m., 172 customers were still without electricity. Power is expected to be fully restored by midnight.
SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — A truck knocked over a power pole and line in Springfield Friday afternoon at the corner of 30th and Main Street, causing a widespread outage, Springfield Utility Board said.
