Tree Falls on Car, Woman Injured

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. — Police say a 40-foot pine tree blew onto the hood of a car on Highway 230 in southeast Douglas County Saturday morning. The Grants Pass woman driving the car lost control and struck another pine tree off the highway. Kristen Daniels, 42, went to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
