EUGENE, Ore. — A jury found David Ray Taylor guilty on three of four counts of aggravated murder in the killing of Celestino Gutierrez.
Jurors took just under 10 hours to come to an agreement on the verdict. They found Taylor not guilty on the fourth aggravated murder charge, and instead guilty of a lesser charge of intentional murder.
Taylor faced 31 total charges, most related to two robberies in Mapleton and Creswell.
The sentencing phase of his trial starts on Tuesday. Taylor could face the death penalty.
