Teen Hacker Under House Arrest

EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene student arrested for hacking into the 4J system in June is now home under house arrest.

About six weeks ago, the North Eugene High School student allegedly hacked into the school system and posted hundreds of students’ confidential information.

A Lane County judge released the teen after his attorney entered not-guilty pleas on two counts of computer crime–one of them a felony.

The teenager has not been identified.
