Texas Fertilizer Plant Explodes

UPDATE: Texas authorities confirm between 5 to 15 dead in the fertilizer plant explosion. More than 180 injured.

WEST, Texas — An explosion at a fertilizer plant has injured dozens of people and sent flames leaping into the night sky.

The plant was about 19 miles north of Waco. The explosion could be seen and felt for miles.

There are reports of numerous deaths and injuries, however the town’s Mayor wouldn’t confirm any fatalities as of late Wednesday night.

Roads leading to the fire were jammed with emergency vehicles. Ten buildings were reported to be on fire, including a school across the street from the plant.
