Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:

Dry weather returns today for Turkey day; skies will be partly sunny with high temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s.  Heading into Thursday night, temperatures will fall into the 30s for a chilly start for Black Friday shoppers. The next system moves in later in the day, though, bringing scattered showers to the Coast and Valley. Freezing level will be above pass level so precipitation will be rain, instead of snow, in the mountains.

The showers continue Saturday, meaning a wet Civil War tailgate and battle in Corvallis.   Showers wrap up Sunday morning as a high pressure ridge builds, keeping things dry for the start of next week.

Happy Thanksgiving!
