EUGENE, Ore. — Interest in backyard beekeeping is growing.
More urban farmers are setting up hives, benefiting from bees pollinating plants and flowers plus the honey.
If anyone is interested in becoming a backyard beekeeper, they can attend Glorybee Foods’ 38th Annual Bee Weekend.

The event takes place at Glorybee’s Factory Store, located at 29548 Airport Road off Highway 99. It happens April 12 from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
