METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
The first of many storms will swing through today. Heavy rain will continue across the area for most of the day, but begin to let up around dinner time. Winds will also pick up along the coast with this storm, with gusts around 35 mph. High temperatures Sunday will be mild and in the mid 50s.
Rain will continue Monday with another storm. The snowline will climb to 6,500 feet Monday bringing rain above the pass levels. Showers will continue Tuesday through Thursday as two more storms move though. Snowlines will drop with Thursday’s storm down to 4,000 feet, bringing some more, and much need, snow to the mountains. High pressure does appear to build by Friday, which should end the shower activity for a couple of days.
Have a super Sunday!
