METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Plenty of blue sky and sunshine Sunday, helping temperatures climb back into the 90s inland, still in the 60s along the coast.
An upper level low will sit off the Northern California coast Monday through Wednesday. This upper level low will bring southwesterly winds into the area, helping our temperatures get into the mid 60s along the coast and near 90 inland. The southwesterly flow will also bring some moisture from the Pacific into the mid levels, causing a chance for thunderstorms in the Cascades.
The low will move over western Oregon Thursday through next weekend. This will cause our upper level winds to shift and bring our temperatures back down to normals. The chance for thunderstorms will continue for the Cascades.
Have a wonderful week!
