METEOROLOGIST MELISSA FREY’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
After a very quick break Thursday, the clouds are back! A storm is moving into western Washington today and although we won’t see the brunt of this storm, we will see the clouds and a few sprinkles here or there. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 50s across western Oregon.
Storms are then lined up for about every 24 hours for the next week. Saturday and Sunday we’ll see scattered showers with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. If you’re headed to the Beaver game in Seattle, or the Duck game in Eugene, bring the rain gear!
By Monday the storms will likely be stronger, and headed directly for western Oregon which means soggy days are on the way Monday through Halloween.
Although it’ll be wet, these storms are coming from the southwest, rather than northwest, so it will stay warmer than average with highs in the low 60s.
Have a great weekend!
