The Whit: Under the Bridge

EUGENE, Ore. — The Washington-Jefferson Street Bridge in Eugene is not the kind of park most people think to take their kids.

That’s because over the years it’s become a popular spot for Eugene’s homeless population.

In part four in our series on the Whiteaker Neighborhood, we show how the bridge played a role in molding the perception of the Whiteaker neighborhood as a whole.
