METEOROLOGIST MELISSA FREY’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A warm tropical storm is making its way across western Oregon. Temperatures started in the upper 40s this morning and will climb to the mid 50s this afternoon. Don’t let those warm temperatures fool you though, we’ll also see plenty of rain as a warm front makes it’s way across the state.
By Friday dry weather returns, and the heat will kick it up another notch! A ridge of high pressure will keep us dry and warm with highs near 60 degrees!
The next storm is on track to bring the rain back by Saturday evening. Showers will continue through Sunday afternoon and highs will stay in the mid to upper 50s.
Monday it’s back to dry weather, but the next storms are lined up for Tuesday and Wednesday. The middle of the week will bring showers and cooler temperatures.
Have a great Thursday!
