Third Graders Bring History to Life

Wax MuseumEUGENE, Ore.— History came to life as students at Adams Elementary participated in their own wax museum Thursday afternoon.

Students wore costumes and presented influential American figures to an audience of parents, teachers, and their peers.  Each student acted as a wax figure that would unfreeze at the push of a button.  They would then explain why their character was so important.

There were pint-sized versions of dozens of historic Americans, including Walt Disney, Benjamin Franklin, and Helen Keller.

This is the sixth year that Adams elementary has held the event.
