Three Injured While Making Hash

ROSEBURG, Ore. — Police say three people were injured in a Roseburg motel room while they were making hash.

The Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team and the Roseburg Police Department are investigating the explosion.

All three were taken to the hospital with injuries. On Tuesday afternoon, officers arrested Charles and April Shipp and Jerri Labonte for the crime.

Police say the operation involved butane used to extract the psychoactive agent THC from marijuana to make hashish.

Officers say a wall of the Douglas Inn Room was blown out and the windows shattered.
