Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
Temperatures continue to climb to 90 degrees inland Tuesday. Along the coast will continue to keep it cool in the mid to upper 60s. We’ll have a chance for thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon in the Cascades and Central Oregon lat this afternoon.
High pressure remains in control for the rest of the week and into the weekend. Temperatures will remain to be around 5-10 degrees above average and in the upper 80s, near 90 degrees in the Willamette Valley and foothills of the Cascades. High temps will be in the low 90s in the Umpqua Basin and in the mid to upper 60s along the coast.
Isolated thunderstorms will continue in the Cascades and Central Oregon Wednesday and this weekend.
