CORVALIS, Ore. — Corvalis Police say a 17-month-old child died after she was struck by a car driven by her father Friday evening.
Officers say the toddler was one of three children playing in front of the home on the 400 block of NW Conifer Blvd. Police say the father was parking a vehicle in the driveway when he struck the little girl, critically injuring her.
The girl was taken to the hospital but died shortly after she got there.
Police are treating this case as an accident and no charges are being filed.
