DORENA, Ore. — A 22-month-old boy is safe after he wandered away from his family’s campsite Thursday evening.
The boy went missing around 5:30 p.m. at the Rujada Campground, east of Dorena. Police deputies and troopers joined in the search with the parents and people at the campground.
After about a half hour, a trooper found the boy safe on a nearby hiking trail. Deputies say this should serve as a reminder to parents, keep a close eye on your kids.
