Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter Tracy Bonham Fine visited students at Howard Elementary in Eugene Thursday.
She wasn’t there to perform. Instead, she offered advice and inspiration to fourth and fifth graders in the beginning strings class.
Bonham Fine attended the school, and her mother taught there.
“It always feels really good to give back to the programs that enriched my life to the teachers, parents, everybody who influenced me,” Bonham Fine said.
Bonham Fine will also appear Saturday in the 80th anniversary concert put on by the Eugene-Springfield Youth Orchestra, featuring more than 300 youth members.
