UPDATE (4:15 p.m.): The motorcyclist injured in the crash was 58-year-old Terry Brateng, from Dallas. He was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend with serious injuries. The car’s driver Kaitlyn Inman, 20, of Springfield was not injured. Police have not issued any citations.

UPDATE (11:40 a.m.): Two lanes of I-5 South are open. The far right lane is closed. Drivers should anticipate delays. ODOT says the crash is not affecting the southbound I-5 off-ramps to I-105. All lanes are expected to be open by noon.
When it started raining around 10:30 a.m., police say three motorcyclists went under the awning underneath the overpass to keep dry. They were off their bikes when a driver hit one of them. Police say the motorcyclist went to the hospital with unknown injuries.
EUGENE, Ore. — The southbound lanes of I-5 are restricted to a single lane after a crash near the intersection with I-105. Oregon State Police says the crash involves a vehicle and a motorcycle.
ODOT says drivers should anticipate congestion and a lengthy delay. The crash is not affecting the southbound I-5 off-ramps to I-105.
