COQUILLE, Ore. — Two brothers staying the night with their grandmother have died, after their trailer caught on fire Wednesday morning. And a third grandson is in critical condition.

Police say the two brothers are from Roseburg. Both 13-year-old Christopher Thorp and 8-year-old Grayson Thorp died from smoke inhalation.

Police say the fire broke out in the River’s Edge RV Park in Coquille just after 1:15 a.m. Crews arrived to find the trailer engulfed in flames.

The grandmother, 59-year-old Virginia Jennings, was able to get out.

Neighbors pulled out 7-year-old Caden Teddleton before flames got too intense. Caden is in critical condition with burns and smoke inhalation.

The grandmother was treated and released.

OSP arson investigators are taking part in the investigation as well as the state fire marshal and the Coos Bay Police Department.
