COOS BAY, Ore. — After nearly six years of sitting empty, the Coos Bay Rail Link has trains running on it again.
Roseburg Forest Products sent a shipment of plywood from its Coquille mill Monday morning.
The 134-mile rail line shut down in 2007 because of significant repairs that were needed. That prompted communities in southwest Oregon to unite to buy the line and restore it.
