COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. — One person was arrested after an alleged stabbing at a homeless camp Thursday morning.
It happened at about 8:14 a.m. off Highway 99 near Cottage Grove.
The Lane County Sheriff’s Office took Colleen Barry, 41, into custody. She’s now charged with assault.
The victim, 49-year-old William Foster, was sent to the hospital. His condition hasn’t been released.
Barry is also being charged for stabbing Foster six months ago, which went unreported, and also assaulting him during a fight in November of 2012.
