Truck Flips on I-5 near Roseburg

ROSEBURG, Ore. — A truck driver was sent to hospital after being in a rollover crash on I-5 just south of Roseburg Wednesday night.

The driver, R. David Lee, 51, of Central Point was going south when this truck drifted into the median and flipped on its side. The tankers the truck was pulling leaked about 6,500 gallons of adhesive resin used in plywood.

Police say another car sideswiped the truck as it was coming to a stop. That driver was not injured.

One lane of I-5 south was closed until the next morning as crews worked to clean up the spill.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the crash.
