The tsunami advisory that was issued for the Oregon and California coasts from 80 miles north of San Francisco to 10 miles south of Florence has been lifted.
A 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast of British Columbia, Canada triggered these advisories. Parts of British Colombia, Alaska and Hawaii were under tsunami warning. Those warnings were lifted Sunday morning.
The National Weather Service reports the earthquake will not generate a tsunami.
