EUGENE, Ore. — Two people were taken to the hospital following two separate accidents in Eugene Sunday morning.
Both crashes occurred near Coburg Road.
A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle turning onto Adkins Street.
And a motorcyclist collided with a car turning onto a street off Harlow.
Officers said with more cyclists on the road in the summertime that drivers need to be on high alert.
“Just provide plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you to give yourself time to react to any sudden movement,” said Officer Eric Eason of the Eugene Police Department.
Officers said both people were treated for minor injuries.
