Two Arrested for Stealing Tools, Truck

GARDINER, Ore. — Deputies arrested two people for allegedly breaking into a paper mill and stealing tools and a truck.

They say James Wiggins and Julie Neuharth broke into the International Paper Mill in Gardiner early Thursday morning, stole some tools and a pickup truck that they drove away in.

Deputies later spotted the stolen truck on Highway 101, pulled over the driver and found the suspects who were inside.

Inside the truck, they found unlawfully possessed prescription medications and also methamphetamine. They recovered some but not all of the stolen tools.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
