Two Injured in Springfield House Fire

SPRINGFIELD HOUSE FIRESPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Two people were taken to the hospital after a house fire in Springfield Thursday night.

The fire was reported after 4 p.m. in the 1600 of Kelly Boulevard.

When fire crews responded, they found one person outside the home suffering from burns. They soon learned there was still someone in the house, so they had to enter the burning building.

Crews say they were able to get the person out alive, but both people were rushed to the hospital with burns.

The cause of the fire is unknown. However, crews say it looks like the house is a total loss.
